Infant Dehydration: Symptoms & Warning Signs

Emergency first
No urine for 8 hours, no tears, extreme lethargy, or a sunken fontanelle in a floppy infant. Emergency fluids.
What this means
Vomiting, diarrhea, or poor intake can lead to dehydration. Sports drinks are not infant rehydration. A clinician directs oral rehydration volume.
